Near Melle in Deux-Sevres, (part of Poitou-Charentes), south east of Niort and southwest of Poitiers.. Nearest airports are Poitiers and La Rochelle, with frequent flights by Ryanair from London Stanstead to both. The Logis de Canteau is situated south-west of Poitiers in the second sunniest region of France which has over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year.

By Air:
If you fly by Ryanair to either La Rochelle, or Poitiers we advise you to hire a car at the airport. Driving time from Poitiers is roughly 50 minutes and from La Rochelle an hour and ten minutes. You should drive towards Melle from where Mazieres sur Beronne is just a few minutes drive.

By Ferry:
The nearest car ferry port is Le Havre, which is approximately 4 - 4.5 hours driving time from Mazieres sur Beronne. Again, driving south you should aim for Melle from where we provide detailed directions. You can opt to drive from Calais, but the drive is a good 8 hours, so you may wish to break your journey for a night at an hotel.
